MOLISEXTRA AT THE 9° NATIONAL REVIEW OF SINGLE VARIETIES EXTRAVIRGIN OLIVE OILS

The International contest Extrascape shows the strong bond, direct between the beauty of the landscape (understood beauty as aesthetical aspect but also as care and respect of the earth and the practices of cultivation) and the quality of the extravirgin olive oil.

ALL AGAINST ALL IN THE EXTRAVIRGIN OLIVE OIL WORLD.CALL TO THE UNITY ... THE ANSWER : MOLISEXTRA

We are pleased to meet you !!! MOLISEXTRA is here... "The division among the various actors of the production doesn't benefit to anybody, believe me."(CALL, the journalist LUIGI CARICATO, from a teatronaturale.it article)

CASAS DE HUALDO WINS TOP PRIZE AT EXTRASCAPE

In a large and sunny room overlooking the Adriatic Sea, teams of landscape, architectural and environmental experts from three Italian universities poured over maps, spreadsheets and aerial images of olive farms.
Meanwhile, in another room, the olive oils produced by those farms were analyzed by a panel of expert tasters.

Extrascape: Great Olive Oil Begins with a Landscape

From extraordinary lansdscapes come extraordinary products, especially if we are talking about extra virgin olive oil. This is the thesis that underliesExtrascape, the new international competition which awards both extra virgin olive oils and the landscapes from which they were born.

Colletorto

The village was mentioned for the first time in the 1320 records of the Angevins, under the name of collis Tortus, which suggests that its existence is prior to the coronation of Queen Joanna I of Naples, daughter of Charles II of Anjou. Much has been said about the original name of the country from "Bull Hill" to "Fort Hill" through "Colleobtorto", as Father Gonzaga wrote centuries ago. But in addition to discrepancies in the original name, other assumptions are made about the visit of Queen Jeanne d'Anjou. She built a crenellated tower that still stands as a monument representing the municipality. It is located in the area called "Largo Angioino" and is, along with the marquis palace and the Mother Church, the culmination of the historical center.
